Would you like to have more fun playing golf while improving your golf skills? Or maybe you just need an impetus to start playing regularly. As a member of the Timacuan Golf Club you have access to one of the most beautiful and challenging golf facilities in central Florida. Why not use this as an opportunity to join other women in their quest to become more competent golfers. The Timacuan Women’s Golf Association may be just what you need.
Timacuan Women’s Golf Association was founded in 1988 by a group of ladies who were brand new members in a brand new club, not only to play golf, but to promote friendship and camaraderie among the members. So important was the friendship and camaraderie it is still recognized today with a plaque to the deserving member each year.
The group of women golfers that meet regularly to improve their golfing skills and have a good time…18 Holers meet Thursday and Saturday mornings to play in a friendly, competitive manner.
Members of our club also travel all over Central Florida representing TGWA and Timacuan Golf Club, competing in Challenge Cup, Crystal Cup and many invitationals. Also we are proud to have the same clubs here for competition and our invitational (Field Day) and Member /Guest.
